- Like Gucci - Lil Joe
What is your background? tell us where you grew up and some information about your upbringing/experiences as a youth:
I grew up in Hiram Clarke, Southwest of Houston. My mother had me when she was just 16 and wasn’t able to provide for me, which let me to living with her play sister mom. Which I called my grandma. My dad was never in the picture. So my grandma and grandpa passed and that’s when life went down the drain. Because they the only one cared about me and my lil sister. If it wasn’t because of them ain’t no telling where we’d be. But we live with my my moms sister, and all she do is go to the club and come home yell. So I grew up to that all my life, she took us in and out of schools. She kicked me out a couple times. I really grew up sleeping on the carpet. But that’ll change one day hopefully.
At what moment did you know that music was part of your life and what feelings did you have towards making an active impact with your music?
I mean music is everything, we would get on our level and start freestyling and they would record me freestyling and post on the Internet. So I just start writing to myself in my notes and told myself 2016 I’m going to start rapping.
What artists inspired/influences you and if you could collaborate with any artist (alive or passed) who would it be and why?
To be honest I would probably do a song with the Finesse Kid “Kodak”

What are your short term career goals within the next 6-10 months?
I want to get my music to as many people as I can. I also would like to start performing at different venues.
What are your long term career goals within the next 2-5 years? Even though I didn’t like the way my aunt raised me I would love to be able to really help her because she’s struggling and my lil sister and neice stays in the house. I want to have my own spot for sure to. Like I don’t feel like nobody struggled more than me
