I came into this world in 1986 in Lynwood California. I come from a family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers, and a lot of fighting. I discovered my calling in life through music when I moved to Ga. At the age of 20 is when I first found my passion as a producer was something that could not be ignored. After years of rapping and making beats, I learned how to profit from my new found knowledge in Internet Marketing. Currently I am an independent producer- artist – engineer working with many artists and promoting my first single #DropMeAtTheStudio available on iTunes & all major distributors on May 2nd 2016. Ive worked with Major artists in the industry and also have coached independent artists. I am the CEO of Track Junkee Music Group and a dedicated entrepreneur.

Track Junkee, born in Lynwood California and residing in Jesup Ga, is an up and coming Super Producer. Coming up as your average “class clown” middle child, Adam Bithell AKA. Track Junkee was no stranger to having the spotlight. Discovering his musical talent in 2007 he began rapping with friends just as a hobby. Being that he was very technologically inclined, he began studying “How the music was made” which lead him to start making beats and producing other locals music. 7 years later the passion grew into a business, a lifestyle, and a brand that is now being publicized nationally since his first single that was released on iTunes titles “Drop Me At The Studio”

Exclusive Interview:

What is your background? tell us where you grew up and some information about your upbringing/experiences as a youth:

I was born in Lynwood California, just outside of Compton. I spent most of my childhood in a small town in Washington state called “Mesa”  until the age of 9 when my mother and father divorced. Thats when I moved to GA, and experienced a big culture shock. Being that my father was absent, I did what most young boys would, I acted out and began to go down a road that later would lead to a life of crime.

At what moment did you know that music was part of your life and what feelings did you have towards making an active impact with your music?

I was young when I had visions of being on stage, but I never understood or even paid it any attention. At the age of 24 my passion for music began to grow into a legit business. By 2016 I had built a following as a Producer & I learned to impliment my newfound understanding of life into my music career as an Artist. I began to educate and influence my following, just as I was educated. Thats when I began the “Positive Vibes” movement.

What artists inspired/influences you and if you could collaborate with any artist (alive or passed) who would it be and why?

Im really interested with working with Travis Scott. But to be honest, I am more interested in working with Pop artists like Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry Demi Lovato, And Adam Levigne to name a few. Im not your average Hip-Hop Artists and I want my songs to paint a picture. I just don’t feel rappers like Young M.A. have the skill to make the type of music Im trying to make.

What do you think about the current state of hip hop/mainstream music?

I would say I have unstable feelings towards the state of Hip-Hop. Its all about money first off.  I try not to knock some of the new artists like Lil Yachty, Desiigner etc. because I have come to realize that its a new era, New faces, new mentalities, morals, upbringings and understandings. I remember my mother being baffled when I listened to rappers such as Tupac. She claimed that she couldn’t understand a word of it, and it was gibberish.. Thats exactly how I Feel about some of these mainstream artists today. Ive learned to accept the fact that I just don’t fully understand it.

Currently, what projects do you have in the works that you are most excited about?

I currently am working on my Album, which I project to be ready around summer 2017. But before that I have an upcoming single that Im looking to release soon. Its a totally different vibe then what I have released thus far, and I am curious to see the reaction from my fans. I also have the “Positive Vibes” campaign in full effect, as well as the merchandise which is making its way to the masses as we speak. I would definitely keep your ears open for this new single. I call it “I Bet I Won’t” which I fully wrote, produced and engineered on my own.

What are your short term career goals within the next 6-10 months?

I want to expand my following, ultimately to raise awareness and help those who are just lost in life, or been enslaved by there own thinking. I am looking to acquire the proper funding to take my campaign global, and of course continue to make good music for those who are due for a change in their listening routine.

What are your long term career goals within the next 2-5 years?

In the next 2-5 years Im expecting to build my brand strong enough to generate the revenue necessary to facilitate and employ. I want to build a production company, begin my record label and sign and mentor artists/producers etc.

As far as my movement, I see “Positive Vibes” growing into so much more than just logo on a T-shirt. Only time will tell..

If you had one song out of the catalogue you have created to show a person what song would it be and why?

“Drop Me At The Studio” because the originality in the sound, the fresh sound of the instrumental, and the meaningful and catchy lyrics. I feel when people hear this song and see my grind, it paints a better picture of who I am and how dedicated I am.

To the person who had never heard of you what is it about your music and story that you would tell them to entice them to be a supporter?

I grew up a screw up. I took my totally fucked up mentality, and years of pain & emotions and managed to make music that Is fun and fresh. I used my ability to flow crossed a beat, and combined it with my passion for story telling and this is what you get. My life, struggles, success and ultimately my transformation is all documented, and produced in a unique and entertaining way. Im sure that if you look deeper, you will notice my life and my story has similar relevance and relativity to some of your past experiences or struggles. I learned a lot through people I could relate to, ultimately our entire life is a big and long learning experience. No sense in doing it alone.

If your music could be described in five words what would those five words be?

Fresh – Melodic – Original – Vibes – Moving

What do you bring to the game that is unique and different?

Im bringing me. Im bringing a fresh new positive outlook into a negativity embracing industry. My life, my stories, my music and my beliefs go beyond the average Hip Hop artist. My movement and  what I stand for are based off equality and positivity. I just use my music to paint the picture. I believe in originality an want to spread awareness of expressing and finding your own originality as opposed to what is popular now, which is being someone you are not.

To the aspiring artist who is considering a career as a musician what lessons or advice would you give them to inspire them or to uplift them in the journey?

Be yourself, find what makes YOU. Don’t get caught up in who you think people want you to be or sound like. Your life is an open  book and you are the author. Make sure that your readers (Fans) are not getting a rewritten story, your experiences are similar but unique and it is up to you to share your experience strength and hope to those who may be able to learn from what You have been through.

What are your final words you would like to say to people that you have left out?

I would like to give a big shout out to ALL my fans and supporters. All the publicist and bloggers who are sharing and spreading awareness of my movement, my family for constantly inspiring and motivating me to keep pushing.  Everyone who has played a role in my spiritual and mental growth. I want to anyone reading to know that its time to get control of your thoughts and take control of our lives. We have been governed to settle for less and led to believe that anything more that what we already have is unreachable or merely a fantasy. IT IS NOT. Get out there and become who You want to be and don’t let anyone including yourself stop you. And most of all God who makes all possible. #PositiveVibes
