What is your background? tell us where you grew up and some information about your upbringing/experiences as a youth?

I was born and raised in Oakland,California in Brookfield village. As a child music was never my main goal in life.Actually growing up as a kid I was really into sports. As a child I experienced The struggle of having a separated home.I am the oldest of two little brothers from different moms.As being the oldest brother I had to make sacrifices and adult choices to make sure my brothers fell in the right foot steps.

At what moment did you know that music was part of your life and what feelings did you have towards making an active impact with your music?

Growing up I always loved the attention that music artist received, from the fans to the luxury life. I always used to joke around and rap and try to sing to my friends and family but only as a joke never taking my music career seriously. But soon later in life I realize that I had to make a life decision on what my life would turn out to be dropping out of college leaving my football career in the past and not being too eager about going to school for my bachelors or masters degree I knew music was my only way to live my life the way I wanted. What gave me a impact on my music was passed relations from Friends to girlfriends all the way from family loved ones. It was the good and bad in those relationships that makes my lyrics today

What artists inspired/influences you and if you could collaborate with any artist (alive or passed) who would it be and why?

I would have to say more than one artist inspired me to make music from being a fan and from feeling the same pain they felt. As my music career started to take off I started to Bend towards the rap group Migo’s, just because their whole demeanor and lavish lifestyle is what I want in life for me and all my brothers. If I could collaborate with any artist I would have to say it would be with Fetty Wap or Drake, only because growing up when I actually started to make sure those were the main or if I listen to people would always tell me,”Bra cut that Fetty wap shit off!” or “Drake not the best rapper!” I would get so offended because I looked up to them so muc

What do you think about the current state of hip hop/mainstream music?

I would say now the music doesn’t matter about the lyrics it’s how you promote the words and how you carry yourself. For instance you could be the worst rapper in the world but as long as you have the style and the swag of the richest person in the world the fans are going to love you. Now don’t give me wrong there are some mainstream rappers that are lyrically legends but on the other hand there are some that may not have the best lyrics but have the style of the swagger that the fans adore and want to have. Because at the end of the day the fan is going to want to dress ,look ,and act like a rapper then to actually put in the hard work and have thr lyrical features of one

Currently, what projects do you have in the works that you are most excited about?

As of right now I am most excited about a music video for my soon to be hit song “where you gone be.” This is my first music video and I’m going to do it right I also have another song in the works named “In my bag” this song was to help promote my upcoming clothing line

“IMB apparel” which will be releasing Summer 201

What are your short term career goals within the next 6-10 months?

My short term career goals for the next 6 to 10 months I would have to say mainly is to get my name out there, Maybe a couple big name artists recognitions. But nothing too serious because I know the best comes to those that wai

What are your long term career goals within the next 2-5 years?

My long-term career goals for the next 2 to 5 years I’m planning lots of legendary moves to my future I don’t want to say too much now to jinx myself but just know to all my fans and whoever is reading this the best has yet to come

If you had one song out of the catalogue you have created to show a person what song would it be and why?

If I could promote one of my songs to anyone it would have to be “Gang’n” Only because on this song I felt like I found my voice it was something that everyone can vibe and dance to plus it’s my favorite song too

To the person who had never heard of you what is it about your music and story that you would tell them to entice them to be a supporter?

On my music history from the heart from talking about women to past friendships all the way to money is all happened in my past I’m not like most rappers that’s just gonna tell you what you want to hear to motivate you I’m going to tell you my past and past experiences and past struggles hoping they’ll either touch you or avoid you from going down the back roa

If your music could be described in five words what would those five words be?

Real

Motivational

Heart Felt

Deep

Turnt

What do you bring to the game that is unique and different?

One thing I can say I’m bringing into the game that is different is that I’m not like the average 2016-2017 music artist I’m not making music about killing robbing and doing women wrong I make my music so everyone can vibe to it so everyone can’t dance to it so you can listen to it on your way home late night I don’t make music for one gender or one race I make my music for everyon

To the aspiring artist who is considering a career as a musician what lessons or advice would you give them to inspire them or to uplift them in the journey?

I just want to give a special shoutout to the people that never gave up on my dream and always motivated me to go stronger and harder and never told me I wasn’t made for this game. I love my team I want to shout my brother Max Josh Phil and Justin for always giving my that constructive criticism that was sometimes hurtful but at the end of the day it payed off I would also love to shout out my so called assistant Ana she always I mean always gives me the right advice that will and has bettered my music. For Moms and pops don’t worry I’ll be Santa Clause soon on the holidays and most of all the person that I’m doing this for is my Grandmother Peggy E. Beed I love you Peggy Beed!!! #MoeyU
