What is your background? tell us where you grew up and some information about your upbringing/experiences as a youth:

I grew up in the 706 Athens, GA, real county boy. My upbringing was kind of crazy, I lost my farther in 2006 to the system so my moms raised me, grew up in a single parent home. My youth experiences vary so much, I had to grow up really fast and I seen a lot in my younger days I feel like no individual in their youth should see. Despite all that I am still here today striving and making something out of myself in a positive way. I’m just doing my thing and expressing myself through my passion.

At what moment did you know that music was part of your life and what feelings did you have towards making an active impact with your music?

When I was very young, in the second grade. My family is big on having a good time and good music. My moms and grandparents brought me up on real southern soul music and R&B and the feel from that upbringing sparked my passion for music and how it moves people. My whole objective was I feel amazing when I’m recording and making songs that have so much feel in them, so I knew once I got into ears of the world and they felt what I feel when I am making my music it would be something magical.

What artists inspired/influences you and if you could collaborate with any artist (alive or passed) who would it be and why?

Well I am big on classic hits and music so my inspirations were 2pac, J.Cole, The Weeknd, Gucci Mane, T.K Soul, Keith Sweat, Jodeci, Ginuwine, Donell Jones, SWV, Monica, Xscape, R.Kelly, Tony!Toni!Tone!, Tyrone Davis, Marvin Sease, Johnnie Taylor, exc. My dream collab would definitely have to be with 2pac simply because he is the ultimate idol for me musically and if I can make an impact with my music like he did it will be a dream come true.

What do you think about the current state of hip hop/mainstream music?

I think it just is what it is, I feel like as a hip hop culture we have got away from true artistry and originality. I do know and feel hip hop will get back to wanting that feel and artistry back.
