Hot-Rod is not just another artist. He claims to have plans to use his music to create, build, and change the world. His talents are undeniable, relatable, and real.
Unsigned artist from Gray Court, SC, he has to grind extra hard for his music career. Not too many big name artists have come to South Carolina, and not many have made it out. He was once apart of a group (G6 Boys), now doing his own thing, he plans to become a household
Hot-Rod states that his main goal and priority is to provide for his family, while building an empire for them once he passes away. This has always been his dream, goal, hobby and life. Music is his life.
What is your background? tell us where you grew up and some information about your upbringing/experiences as a youth:
im from a small town in South Carolina called Gray Court aka grind city
At what moment did you know that music was part of your life and what feelings did you have towards making an active impact with your music?
I always been into music but started off me an my cousin rappin on a stero radio. I knew then that was something i wanted to do i was 16 at the time. I know wit my story i mite can help someone thats goin through something cause i been there
What artists inspired/influences you and if you could collaborate with any artist (alive or passed) who would it be and why?
Of course i can say pac was a big influence but i like good music i listen to a lil bit of everybody. If could collaborate wit someone it would be gucci mane , but I’ll work wit anyone im all about that bag
What do you think about the current state of hip hop/mainstream music?
Need a new look something original something like me. Now a days every one sounds the same like a bunch of clones. Im stickin out all i can be is me
Currently, what projects do you have in the works that you are most excited about?
I gotta im working on a video for called is you so u can be on the lookout for that. Im Dropping a mixtape next month gonna be called my flow
What are your short term career goals within the next 6-10 months?
Hopefully ima b rich by then my plans are building a empire leaving something behind for my kids
What are your long term career goals within the next 2-5 years?
im alive everything well i be a successful artist. Im established every one in the world know Hot-Rod
If you had one song out of the catalogue you have created to show a person what song would it be and why?
I got a song called kooda remix. It means alot to me i got my brother on it who passed away a couple wks after we did the song. So that song gonna always mean something for me
To the person who had never heard of you what is it about your music and story that you would tell them to entice them to be a supporter?
Its original my sound is unique im versitale make u feel my pain struggle when im happy sad mad all my moods. My music hit home i gotta song for everyone. Wit a take it or leave it attitude im not afraid to be me

Real,original,hot,truth, undeniable
What do you bring to the game that is unique and different?
Im not just rapping about violence i talk about the good an bad its more to life its about being you. Im me so i kno ima stand out
To the aspiring artist who is considering a career as a musician what lessons or advice would you give them to inspire them or to uplift them in the journey?
I been doin it awhile i never gave up even when there was no support always strive for your goals. The only thing that can hold you back is you. Always keep it goin
